Meet the Team

JOSEPH E. WEISZ, CPA, CGMA, MBA

 

Joe has been a practicing CPA since 1978. Prior to Weisz & Weisz CPA's Inc. , Joe was a partner in a Los Angeles CPA firm and established an Orange County branch of that firm. Joe specializes in business and individual tax consulting. He is the father of three children and a resident of Laguna Hills. When he is not diligently working he spends his weekends as a soccer referee. Joe also enjoys spending time working with various local non-profit referee and soccer associations. He speaks Hungarian & Romanian in addition to English.

MICHAEL WEISZ, CPA, PFS, CGMA

 

Michael joined Weisz & Weisz CPA's Inc. in 2006. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in accounting. In addition to preparing business, individual, trust, and non-profit tax returns, Michael specializes in small business tax and retirement planning. As a trusted CPA and tax advisor, he works closely with motivated clients to assist them achieve their long-term goals. Michael enjoys spending his weekends with his family and little pack of dachshunds.

MELISSA WEISZ, CPA

Melissa joined the Weisz & Weisz CPA's firm as a staff accountant in May 2013. She is involved in the preparations of Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, bookkeeping and QuickBooks set up and support for clients.

She earned a BA degree in International Economics with emphasis in accounting, from UCLA in 2010 and while attending school, she worked part time as a bookkeeper. In addition, she spent two years gaining international work experience in Australia. She became an Enrolled Agent in 2016 and is currently preparing to take the CPA exam. Melissa enjoys traveling, playing soccer, snowboarding and spending time with her family.

IAN ADLER, ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

Ian Adler is an Accountant Specialist with eight years of experience working alongside the executive team of Weisz & Weisz. Ian specializes in administrative technology, billing,  bookkeeping, and is responsible for educating other employees on using progressive systems. He is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Ian is inspired daily by his wife and kids. In his free time, Ian  likes to hike, and collect sports memorabilia.
